I really miss morning and afternoon. When I was living in New Zealand my fiends and I would often go have afternoon in between our breaks or lectures when we were at university. It's about the company and often the food and tea that make the occasion very special!

What a beautiful location for afternoon tea! I love that you visited here with Suze from the Luxury Columnist, I really enjoy her blog as well. The desserts included in this afternoon tea look delicious, particularly the mini chocolate chip loafs!

What a majestic dining room. It's a shame about the service but at least the food didn't disappoint.

It was such a pleasure to meet you both! I agree that the service was pretty bad however on the plus side I managed to drop a spare camera battery on the floor, called them the next day and they found it a day later so I got it back!
