POZNAŃ

I just got back from my holidays in Poland and Germany. For the main part of my trip I stayed in Poznań, a Polish city right between Berlin and Warsaw. It has a beautiful Old Market Square and many other attractions. While I am showing the more historical side of the city here, there is also a modern side of Poznań with large shopping malls. Once I had figured out how to move around the city with public transport, it was fairly easy. Overall I had a super pleasant time. The locals were very helpful and open, so I felt very at ease.

I had found a great hotel to stay at, Puro, just a stone's throw away from the Old Market Square. I liked the comfortable and modern room, the great breakfast buffet and their restaurant Nifty No. 20, where I had dinner on two occasions.

In my next posts I will show you photos of the day trips I went to, so watch this space.

  11. Poznan is another city in my Polish travel list. The architecture there reminds me a bit of Slovakia. I will have this hotel in mind in case I travel to Poznan anytime soon.
