LIFE LATELY

Days are getting longer and I've had the chance to catch a few sunrises and sunsets on my way to and from work.

Winter is still lingering around but I hope that it won't be for much longer.

I would have loved to travel somewhere warm and sunny over the winter but unfortunately it wasn't possible with my back and forths to London. I was considering going to LA next month but as I have other commitments coming up, I will move it to the second part of the year.

Saturday: Dinner with my family. We went to Mamma Maria, previously known as Anima e Cuore.

As I had pasta the night before, I went for prawns this time.

I was going to skip dessert!
Friday: I went to Vapiano. I had promised myself not to eat there again but the friend I had dinner with there last time, wanted to go again. He eats there on a regularly basis and obviously thinks that it's an amazing place... I wasn't going to have pizza again and opted for pasta this time. It wasn't too bad but yeah.

Thursday: I had dinner at Sarva, an Indian and Tibetan restaurant in Esch. I had prawn tikka masala (right), which was very good. As my friend K noted, their dishes aren't as creamy and heavy as those that you usually get at Indian restaurants in Luxembourg. We are already planning on going back in a couple of weeks. I will try something from the Tibetan menu next time.

  3. It's so hard getting through winter. I definitely experience those winter blues too as my body hates the cold. The food looks so yummy and comforting though :)

I am cooking right now butter chicken :P Also, don't you hate when you have to go back to a place you think isn't worth your money just because someone else thinks it's "amazing"? *insert roll of eyes*. lol Well I hope you weren't too disappointed with the pasta! 40. Winter is not the best time for travelling in general. If it wasn't the snowboard, I wouldn't have traveled much either. I have never been to a Tibetian restaurant. Sounds interesting.

  41. Hang in there! Winter should be done soon. It's finally getting warmer in Chicago and I just put away some of my winter clothes to make room for spring and summer wardrobes =o)
