Singapura

My last post about Singapore. Here are some random photos that I took during my stay.

Prawn tempura

I ate a couple of times at Sushi Tei. It's a restaurant chain that serves Japanese food on a train or à la carte. Their menu shows all their dishes on pictures, which is really convenient because there is such a huge selection.

Vegetarian dumplings

Salmon teriyaki

A light show at the National Gallery

A walk around Chinatown

Basic breakfast at a basic place with no windows. I needed change to continue my journey and this was my 'solution'.

From the Gardens by the Bay. More pics can be seen here

View from Marina Bay Sands

A walk through Little India

I had a pleasant stay in Singapore and I'm happy to have seen it once. Before this trip, some people had told me that it was like Luxembourg. I now see what they mean. It's a nice place.

  1. Loving these shots Anouk! I've only been once, when I was a child, so I don't remember much of it. Singapore is relatively close to Australia, so it's not yet high on my list of places to go to (I would rather go somewhere far away!).

  2. I understand - that's why I've never been to popular places like Mallorca or Tenerife. I'm keeping these for when I'm retired 😊

Honestly, these pictures are making me miss Singapore so much. I was just there a few months back and had such a wonderful time. You captured the city perfectly :)

  10. Give me the food! haha Those dumplings looked delicious! As for the chocolate bars... $3 for one? Is this in US dollars? If yes, that's quite a pricey bar! Also, mind enlightening me on how Singapore is similar to Luxembourg? Haven't visited either place I cannot really see the correlation... (yet) :)

  13. I think they were tubes with colours, not chocolates. Yeah, for the price of $2. SG is similar to Lux in the sense that they have very high GDP per person, very clean, neat, safe and not the most happening...

I have been in Singapore several times for work as my company main office is based there, but I did not have much time to visit. I cannot wait to be back there in January so I can take lots of inspirations from your posts!
