LIFE LATELY

Back in Lux. Coming home after a week in Southeast Asia was a bit of a downer. Gradually I have been getting back into my daily routine again though.

Dinner at Ambrosia. My friend called it 'the restaurant where you can always get a table'. We went on a busy night and we were the last ones to get a table without a reservation. The food (Greek) was okay, the service was top at the beginning but once the main course was served, our waiter ended his shift and no one else checked back on us.

Travel plans. I wasn't going anywhere else before 2017 but it has turned out that I will be celebrating New Year's Eve in London. Still figuring where to go in January/February... I hope that I will come up with a destination soon.

  2. It is always hard to come home form a trip, . It as if you leave adventure behind. Nonetheless, I find coming home (even if it's for a short time), is always good and necessary, to find yourself. NYE in London sounds like a wonderful idea. This year, I am not going anywhere. Thinking of attending some parties in Dallas, though! Looking forward to seeing where 2017 will take you, Anouk!

  22. Anouk,
Your NYE plans sound great! At first,I was feeling glad to not have any travel plans over this holiday season because I'm so tired out from work... but now I feel the wanderlust! Oh, what are you thinking for Feb or March?

I am not a big fan of Ambrosia - as my brother-in-law is Greek, he does not consider the food so much good like in order places in Luxembourg. Moreover the last time I was there the service was horrible!

You must be excited for NYE in London! Cannot wait to see your pics!

Your photos are enchanting! Theres always a bit of depression once you come back home from a nice trip but that just gives you more reason to start planning the next one! Have a wonderful New Year!
