On Sunday I tried had brunch at Cathy Goedert for the first time. Luckily I had made a reservation because the place was packed.
It was difficult to catch the staff's attention because they were super busy the entire time: it took a while to be seated, plates were not removed during helpings and when it came to settling the bill it was the usual catch me if you can that is so common in Luxembourg. Don't get me wrong - they were friendly when you managed to get their attention but overall they were just overwhelmed.
The food selection at the buffet was good; even for a pescetarian like me, there was enough to choose from. The salty as well as the sweet options were fresh and nicely presented.
For Luxembourg City standards, let me emphasise, for Luxembourg City standards, despite the service that could be improved, I would say that it's one of the best places for brunch in terms of quality and quantity value.
Note: The desserts on the first and the last photo were not part of the buffet but they could be ordered separately.
