First impressions | Singapore

After what seemed a never-ending journey, I finally made it to Singapore. It was getting dark when I stepped out and so I decided to capture my first impressions in black and white (although I selected monochrome on my camera, it still took the photos in colour... had to switch them back to black and white while editing).

Still too early to form an opinion on this place. I am here because it's one of the places that I had never been to before and wanted to tick off my list. I would have preferred to go back to LA where the sky is blue and the sun is always shining but now I'm here. I brought my umbrella because it's rain shower season. But it's quite hot (around 31 degrees Celsius). Let's see what tomorrow brings. I will be exploring the touristy sights.

  9. I will stop by Marina Bay Sands tomorrow I think. Unfortunately you can only use the pool when you are staying at the hotel. But there is some observation deck that is open to the public so I will probably check that one out.

  14. Singapore looks quite international from what I see on these photos. The skyscrapers are mind blowing. I bet they are even more fascinating in real.
