Tiffany suggested that I see Cirque du Soleil's show Luzia: A Waking Dream of Mexico whilst in Toronto. She attended the first Toronto performance at the end of July. As Cirque du Soleil originates from Canada and as I like Mexico (I did a solo trip there a few years ago), I had to see this show.
I was captivated by this amazing spectacle from the beginning until the end. I didn't notice time passing by. The costumes were amazing, the artists' performances were stunning (like nothing I've seen before) and the stage transformed itself multiple times in front of my eyes (including a rain shower in the centre of the stage). Every act was a highlight. The final performance where artists were jumping between huge Russian swings was very tense and literally breathtaking.
