Coffee Fellows | Luxembourg

Cafés that are offering coffee to go have become more and more popular in Luxembourg. Yes, we are finally catching up in that area. Starbucks arrived at the beginning of the year and recently Coffee Fellows, a German chain, opened two cafés at two locations that are more central.

Yesterday I visited the café on Place de Paris as I was meeting a friend. We both had an iced caramel macchiato while sitting on the terrace. It was a nice way to drink goodbye to summer. Skinny and soy options are not available. Hopefully this will happen at some point in the future.

  11. The cafe looks cute and I like that the chairs actually look comfortable. Most places like this in NYC usually don't have the most comfortable seating.

  12. Yes it's true when you say that Luxembourg is catching up with these kind of stores. The gentrification doesn't stop. To be honest a was in the one in the centre and I was quite disappointed. The bagel was very dry and not tasty, the coffee (i had a plain normal americano) was ok but not exceptional. What makes me mad though, is the fact, that you pay the same price or even more in the 'to go' stores, as in a classic one where you're getting served at the table.

  26. Another cozy place. Those chairs look pretty comfy too. Surprised to hear there aren't "take-out" options available in your country. In Australia there's no such thing hehehehe. Then again we are total coffee snobs and time poor so it makes sense for businesses to do so. They even have special counters facing the outside so people don't have to come inside, they can just order then dash off to work.
