Sunday lunch at Harry Cipriani | New York

Three years ago I had lunch at Cipriani Wall Street and this time, I wanted to try their restaurant in Midtown Manhattan, near Central Park. I liked the cosy atmosphere, it felt a bit like having travelled in time, to which year, I can't say. Apparently the interior is an exact copy of Harry's Bar in Venice (Italy).

The service was very attentive and efficient. The food was excellent: I had the spinach ravioli, possibly the best ravioli I've ever had, and a piece of lemon meringue pie. The round roll below was a croissant just in a different shape.

Interesting fact: Cipriani S.A., the corporation that owns the Cipriani restaurants worldwide is based in Luxembourg.

  6. I loved the croissant in a different shape and I love ravioli! The lemon pie looked very good too, and I will take the tip into account. My brother is moving to NY, his girlfriend is already there, so I will be a visitor sometimes :) I will pass this address to them! I love your suggestions!

  9. Ah what a cute croissant! A vendor took me to lunch at the midtown Cipriani years ago and I remember both the food and service being excellent. Glad to hear that has kept up.
