To celebrate my last evening in New York, I had dinner at the Italian restaurant Casa Lever. The setting, the food and the service were exceptional. The restaurant's walls are covered with more than 30 original Andy Warhol portraits.
I enjoyed a glass of Felice Rosato Sant Ambroeus along with the potato-crusted cod as I don't always want to have pasta whenever I'm having Italian. I had spinach as a side. The portions were quite big and I wasn't able to finish it all but there was still some room for dessert.
I was a bit astonished by the tiramisu... it was a bit different from the usual: the creamy part was very much like whipped cream. Instead of finger biscuits, there were crumbled cookies at the bottom of the glass. It was very good though!
