Self-Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine | Los Angeles

This is another spiritual place that I visited during my stay in California: Self-Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine in Pacific Palisades. As the name suggests it, there is a lake in the middle of the site. As you visit, you walk around it and you see beautiful flowers, statues, including the Mahatma Gandhi World Peace Memorial, which contains some of Gandhi's ashes. The windmill above is a chapel, where people were meditating as I walked in.

It was interesting to see several loved up couples around the park. I guess, it's because it's a romantic and idyllic place. I felt relaxed and full of energy when I left. I wish we had such a place in Luxembourg.

  1. Not exactly sure how I feel about PDA in a spiritual place, but gosh, I think I'd understand why couples would be loving up in the place; it's gorgeous!
