Yesterday, I met with A for lunch. This time we opted for Namur, one of the oldest tea rooms in Luxembourg. It really put my recent visit to Ladurée into perspective. Namur may not have the fancy setting that Ladurée does, but it certainly offers better value for money: for half the price you get twice the amount of great quality food. The place wasn't too crowded and the service was very pleasant and efficient as well. I had a mushroom omelette which came with salad and chips.
For dessert I picked this red fruit cake, which was very delicious.
After Namur, I went for a drink and ice cream to Oberweis, another tea room in the city centre. They also offer wonderful food but the place gets extremely busy, especially on Saturday afternoons.
