Yesterday didn't fully go according to plan but I think that was the great thing about it. It was a bank holiday and I drove to the gym only to realise that it was closed. I then worked out at home instead. Later, I received an unexpected message from my friend D who needed someone to pick him up because his car had broken down. Somehow he had managed to bring it to the repair centre but that was closed due to the holiday and he had no one to drive him back home.
We then spontaneously decided to have a sushi train lunch at Origami in Esch Belval. As I was going to shoot a project in Petange and D was free for the rest of the day, we went there together and had a lovely sunny day out.
We celebrated the rest of the afternoon with a bottle of champagne at D's. We listened to corny 90s songs that we remembered. He introduced me to Spotify, which I had never used before. I'm sometimes reluctant to try new things; I used to stick to iTunes but from now on I will use Spotify and see how I like it.
All in all it was a perfect day because the weather was great, I got to spend it with a good friend and we laughed a lot. I hope that in the coming months I'll get to see more sunsets like the one on the first pic.
