Track your habits by kikki.K

The first quarter of 2016 has now passed and I wonder what happened to the New Year's resolutions. While I do think that it is great that we make such resolutions and thereby look at what we want to change in our lives, I also know that by spring they are likely to have been forgotten. Resolutions, just like goals, need to be reviewed regularly and most importantly, implemented and tracked on a regular basis. Not just once a year.

During my recent trip to London, I discovered kikki.K, a super cute stationary shop in Covent Garden. I got hold of their Track Your Habits journal. I use it to log my workouts, piano practices and days of healthy eating. It gives me a good overview of how I'm doing, I feel greater accountability and I am more likely to stick to the routines.

To quote Gandhi:
"Your beliefs become your thoughts,
Your thoughts become your words,
Your words become your actions,
Your actions become your habits,
Your habits become your values,
Your values become your destiny."

  3. The Gandhi quote is fantastic. I don't make New Year resolutions from about 5-6 years. I take what it comes and I am trying to do my best in everything! As I always say, the first wealth is health! Have a great weekend!

  4. That is so nice! I personally also had a list of NY resolutions, and I realized that habits are so important. I am trying to achieve them on a daily basis, but it's not that easy, so I guess a journal like this would be very helpful!

  5. This is such a wonderful post, Anouk! I agree, many of us feel more motivated and inspired to continue on with our goals during the New Years season, but around this time, a lot of us do slack in being consistent. Writing everything down is extremely helpful in keeping us on track because you feel more accountable to actually do and cross/check off what's written down. I also love that quote by Gandhi, which is so true and wise. Thanks so much for sharing, beauty, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

  11. That habit tracker book looks amazing! I love habit trackers to not only keep me on track with habits, but prove to myself that I can do something for longer than a week.

  13. I love Kikki K. Though when I pass a store I have to physically stop myself from going inside because I want everything they stock. They have some seriously amazing stationary and inspirational notebooks.
