I had the chance to see the Horst: Photographer of Style exhibition currently on display in Düsseldorf. Having recently been to the Vogue 100: A Century of Style exhibition in London, it was great to discover Horst P. Horst's work as he had been collaborating with Vogue for six decades, from 1931 until 1991.
The exhibition covers to a large extent Horst's fashion photography (transitioning from black and white to colour) but includes also themes of his, such as surrealism, famous actors, travel, nature, nudes and interior design. My snaps don't do the photos that I saw any justice but I just had to share a glimpse. The exhibition has been travelling internationally, perhaps some of you have had the opportunity to see it in person as well.
