Sunday

Yesterday afternoon I took advantage of the great weather and I went to Luxembourg City. I did a photo shoot with Sunzibar for her fashion blog and then I met friends for a couple of drinks. I was very very disappointed by the service at Brasserie Guillaume (rant done on Instagram and Twitter), so case closed.

We went to Konrad's for carrot and cheese cake. The place was totally packed but we were lucky to find a tiny table. Service wasn't top there either but by then I didn't have the energy to get worked up any more. The cheese cake was superb and so was the Earl Grey tea.
I can't believe that I have never taken a photo of the Musée Dräi Eechelen but yesterday I had the chance.
Wishing you a great week!

  9. Funny coincidence, but I had a cheesecake last weekend, too. First time in months! :) Yours must be really good judging by how busy the place was. x

  10. Bad service can drive me mad even more than bad food. Sorry to hear you had to face it at Brasserie Guillaume! I love cheesecake. Glad to hear you enjoyed your Sunday!

  11. Pity about the service and I have been there, when you're just not up to dealing with it, especially when you're tired. Earl Grey is my favourite tea first, even before English Breakfast. <3 Love the image of the Musée Dräi Eechelen. /Madison

  15. Sorry about the bad experience yet again. I don't understand why food service don't emphasis that on the people the hire? It definitely affect how tn food taste if we are in a bad mood. That aside, I love a good cup of earl grey tea and of course a nice slice of cheesecake isn't a bad addition :) at least the weather was good on your end. It's been cold and non stop rain here where I am. Where is Spring :/

  27. These are some beautiful shot, Anouk. Too bad you've had a bad experience eating out this past Sunday. Nothing more disappointing when the service and the food does not meet your expectations. The museum looks very imposing! Did it used to be a fortress?
