Lebanese dinner at Le Cèdre | Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg

Last night I tried a great Lebanese restaurant in Esch-sur-Alzette: Le Cèdre. K had told me about it for a long long time. She had been many times and finally we got the chance to go together. We shared the Mezze Le Gourmet Menu, which consisted of 10 mezze.

As we don't eat meat, we asked for a vegetarian version. The dinner was absolutely delicious and I liked everything. We finished it off with mint tea. I have to say that the service was also super friendly - altogether it was a very pleasant experience. I would really love to take my family there one day to make them discover Lebanese food.

  4. These little dishes remind me of the Cantonese tea meal "Yum Cha". I love having small dishes because then I can sample more different flavours haha. I did not know you do not eat meat, is this a recent change?

  21. It's nice that they had a vegetarian menu. Most places don't and when I wasn't eating meat I found that it was hard to eat out. By the way the food looks delicious!

  32. There's a few. I loved the Phenicia next to the place de Paris, but there're also the Kicheneck, or the one somewhere in the rue de Strasbourg (never been, just heard about).
