This is the final post dedicated to my recent trip to LA. I'm sharing some random photos that I took on Melrose Avenue, Beverly Hills and from Mulholland Drive. I thought it would be a good idea to juxtapose the glamourous and the rough. Capturing LA is not easy. In most cities, you go to the centre, walk around and take photos. But that's not how it works in LA. You see some of the most interesting sights whilst driving but that's not really the best moment to start snapping (although I am guilty of driving and snapchatting).

The WTF movie poster was everywhere.
Beverly Hills evening traffic.
I find it difficult to take good evening shots. This photo was taken from Mulholland Drive. It doesn't compare to the real experience though, which is just magical. You stand there in awe, surrounded by silence and watch the city glittering away. Have you seen David Lynch's Mulholland Drive? It is one of my favourite movies. I must have watched it six or seven times.
20 February 2016 - Rodeo Drive at 8 am. Ghost town.
I had pad thai at Bulan, a vegetarian Thai restaurant that I discovered in 2007. Love the large choice on their menu and I always enjoy eating there.
I was a bit surprised to see that the Westfield Mall at Century City is undergoing renovation. The site looked as if it had been hit by a bomb. I'm curious to see what they will create out of it next.
A bit of Banksy.
View of San Fernando Valley from Mulholland.
Unlike previous times, I didn't do a lot of shopping. I only bought some basic clothes at American Apparel on Melrose. I particularly love their leggings. And I was so happy to buy another one of their Bouclé Shawl Cardigans. The last one I had bought, at the same shop a couple of years ago, got lost in Dubai last summer. A bit strange to be rebuying the same clothes since 2013.
To conclude the LA series, I'd just say that it was great to be back in my favourite US city. Unless something better comes up, I would consider returning in 12 months. Winter is actually a great time to visit because that's when it's grey and cold in Luxembourg but sunny and not too hot in California.
