#GETTYINSPIRED at The Getty Center | LA

After leaving Las Vegas, I headed straight to LA. I only stopped mid-way at Peggy Sue's 50s Diner for lunch and then drove to the Getty Center. I had been there before but for some reason I didn't take any photos then.

I would say that this is part of my top three places in LA. The site is an architectural masterpiece and combined with the surrounding nature, the art exhibitions and the great panoramic views, it feels like heaven on earth.

The Getty Center is different from the Getty Villa, which is in Pacific Palisades (near Malibu) and is also worth visiting. Of the two, I like this place better though.

  10. So upset I didn't get to see any museums while in LA. The Getty has always been on my bucketlist. Did you get a chance to visit the Broad? They have those amazing balloon like pieces on exhibition right now! I also REALLY wanted to see that.

  18. The second shot, with beautiful and intricate shadows of the tables and chairs is just gorgeous. And I also love the cacti one, for some reasons it made me think of gooseberries and kiwis. :)
