After Wednesday's aperitivo at Jakob's, I went for dinner at Maria Bonita, a Brazilian restaurant in Clausen. Once I got there and looked at the menu, I realized that there weren't any meat-free options. The waitress arranged for additional salmon to be served, something I really appreciated. I had been to this place before and I remembered their fantastic caipirinhas. This time I ordered one too, even though I had just had red wine and crémant... Not an ideal mix but I was fine afterwards.
My friend E was not so impressed by the food. He enjoyed it but I'm not sure, whether he'd go back. I liked what I had and I welcomed the fact that the buffet included lots of different vegetables. There was also a selection of desserts that were part of the buffet but E and I shared one piece of cake because we were full and couldn't eat any more.
In short, the food was good and the caipirinha is the best that I've had in Luxembourg. There aren't many (or any?) restaurants in Luxembourg that serve dinner buffets, so this makes Maria Bonita different. The buffet is definitely ideal for people who like meat. I'm looking forward to spring and summer, when I can return for caipirinhas at their terrace.
