Lunéville | France

Yesterday my friend K and I visited Lunéville, a small town in France about an hour and a half away from Luxembourg. We visited the Château de Lunéville which used to be known as the Versailles of Lorraine.

We were surprised to see so many groups that were there for a guided tour. Out of two wings, only one wing is open for visitors. It had been damaged by a fire in 2003 and since then completely rebuilt. Lunéville is also known for its faience and glass manufacturing, as well as having been the home of Stanislaus I, King of Poland.

After the visit, we set off for Nancy. I will post those photos tomorrow.
