Hub by Premier Inn Covent Garden Hotel | London

Here are some photos of the hotel I stayed at last weekend. I had chosen the Hub by Premier Inn. I've been at several Premier Inn hotels before and I've always been happy with the value for money that they offer. The 'Hub' hotels are part of a new range that offers small minimalist compact rooms that are equipped with the latest technology. They actually follow a similar concept to the CitizenM hotels: the rooms are basic but offer all the necessary amenities.
Here is my personal evaluation of the Hub Covent Garden:
Pros
  • Central location (three minutes walk away from Leicester Square station)
  • Large comfortable bed
  • Different light settings: off, dim, medium, bright
  • Plenty of storage space under the bed and next to the bathroom sink
  • Power shower
  • Complimentary wi-fi and bottled water
  • Fast check in and check out - I was even given access to the room before due check in time
Cons
  • Thin walls - luckily I had earplugs with me
  • The view was not impressive, but when you're in London you have better things to do than look out of the window
As you can see, my pros outweigh the cons. I would certainly consider staying there again!

  3. Thank you so much for the recommendation! I know this will come very useful at some point. At the moment I find it easier to hop on the train and sleep in my own bed, but I love the look of this room and have stayed at Premier Inn's before, so will definitely look out for these new additions whenever I actually have to stay put in London. x

  9. It's really a compact room. But the amenities are very modern. It is centrally located too.

  10. Single rooms can be expensive in London so this is great for single travellers and I like the way that the little desk pulls out

  12. I always tend to stay in South Kensington area when in London - but should I need to change, I will definitely consider this hotel, as it looks like really nice and really well-equipped!
