Sheikh Zayed Mosque, Abu Dhabi

I left Dubai on Friday and went to Abu Dhabi by taxi. The entire trip took about an hour or so. Here are photos of the Sheikh Zayed Mosque that I visited on Saturday evening. I thought that it would be a bit cooler at that time but it was still very very hot! The mosque was impressive but the visit was over quickly.

    1. I think that I just used the "P" setting which is the automatic setting on my Sony mirrorless. It's Photoshop Lightroom that can do wonders :)

  8. I visited in early January last year, so the weather was pleasant. It was daytime though, and would have wanted a night trip. Took the bus instead with my mum and sister, then a taxi from the station. My friends who've visited came at night. Impressive, but you're right, it was a quick one. It's the kind of place you visit once. Glad you went :)

  27. So glad to see that you visited the Grand Mosque as it really is impressive and you captured its beauty so well with your lovely photos. We visited in October when the temperatures are so much better and we were able to take our time wandering around.
