Lucerne & Zug

LUCERNE - It's a charming little city divided by a river. The must-sees are the Lion Monument and the Gletschergarten (glacier garden). I got to the latter very late and I couldn't see everything in detail,  which is something I regret now. What I absolutely loved, was the house of mirrors (part of the garden). Just fantastic.
I had been looking for rösti with a fried egg. It wasn't that easy to find a/ a restaurant that was serving them and b/ a restaurant that was open at the times that I was hungry. But I got lucky at restaurant Taube. I asked them to serve it without bacon and they did. A pure delight!

ZUG - Is between Lucerne and Zurich. I went for a little stroll around the old town to take these photos. It is much smaller than Lucerne but worth a stop.
Hope you enjoyed my Switzerland posts. I have a couple of more trips planned before the end of this year but for now I am going to stay in Luxembourg... until Saturday that is ;)
