Just got back from the Appetizer Walking that was held at Damien Klein's new restaurant IVI Creative Culinary Establishment in Luxembourg City. For a small fee, guests were able to try different hors-d'oeuvres. Drinks were not included and were charged separately. The creations consisted of unusual flavour combinations, which at the same time were visually original. Some I liked better than others - but it was interesting to try something different and move out of my tastebud comfort zone. Chef Damien Klein is known for his eccentric culinary masterpieces. How could I ever forget his mousse au chocolat with rosemary that I had many years ago at Apoteca? Unfortunately I don't have many photos of tonight to share but hopefully you get the idea.
