ICE CREAM - I was lucky to be staying near the Emanha Geladaria, a great ice cream parlour. They had so many yummy flavours to choose from!
BREAKFAST - I tried random places for breakfast, amongst them, Oasis, a restaurant on the beach. They didn't have most of the items listed on their menu but the cheese roll I had was alright and so was the cappuccino.
I only discovered A Pharmácia, a cute coffee shop on the day that I was leaving. Had I known about it before, I would have had breakfast there every day.
LUNCH & DINNER - One place to avoid would be Cervejaria Marisqueira Sagres. The food was alright but it's not great when they serve you random white fish when you ordered salmon. The service was veeery slow. At the end I brought the change to the waiter because he was busy eating. And then he even asked me for smaller bills because he couldn't be bothered to provide change.
Another disappointing experience was Bijou. Not a jewel at all. I did like their cheese but the caipirinha they served was a pain to drink. I guess that the worst part was the fact that from the time my friend ordered his burger, it took more than forty minutes plus a reminder until it got served. And even then, it didn't taste great. Needless to say, I didn't return.
My very favourite restaurant, at which I ate twice, was Gusto DiVino, an Italian restaurant that I had found it on Tripadvisor. The pasta and the pizzas were top. I truly wish there was such an excellent Italian in Luxembourg. In case you wonder, whether I had tried any Portuguese food while I was in Portugal - yes, I did when I was in Porto.
