Seville Day 1

The first day in Seville wasn't really an entire day because I got there in the evening. I headed straight to a bar tucked in a small side street that I felt drawn to.
Discovering a city by night is an interesting experience. It gives you a different impression from the one you would have if it was day.
After the drinks, I had tapas for dinner at Tapeaje. The food was average and I had dinner there because it was the only place that was open in that area.
I ordered potatoes, bacalao and camembert pieces.

I stayed for two nights at the NH hotel on Plaza de Armas.
The room was fine but could have been kept a bit better. Certainly not as nice as the NH Palacio de Tepa in Madrid.
There are more sunny Seville posts to come, so stay tuned!

  6. I always find the place more interesting on the next day than in the evening of arrival. But the feeling to wake up in a different place and to know that you are going to explore a new city is one of my favourite. Looking forward to the sunny photos!

  13. Looking forward to seeing more! A city does feel different by night but I like to time it so I get to spend my first day during daylight because it's easier to orient myself haha.

  24. A city does take a different form at night. My first time in Paris I arrived just before dinner (though it was summer so there was still an abundance of light until late). But most of the sightseeing was done as the sun was setting and the stars were coming out and it was the most unforgettable experience so I understand were you're coming from.
