On 7 November, I attended the reopening of PARIS 8 HAUTE PARFUMERIE in Luxembourg City. Some of my blogger friends had been invited as well.
PARIS 8 is one of the longest established perfumery shops in Luxembourg City. It is a family business that has been open for decades.
Their shop at 56, Grand-Rue in the city centre has undergone a relooking and is now completely transformed. I used to shop there once in a while but with newer chains settling down in Luxembourg, I tended to go more to these.
Ann Vandermeer, the General Manager of the store, introduced the new space to us and explained that organizing the various luxury beauty stands inside the store was like putting together a puzzle. Many factors come into play: the value of the brand, product range, logos, size of standard counters, and so much more.
PARIS 8 goal is to remain recognized as a luxury perfumery store by offering a high quality client-focused service and carrying exclusive high-end brands.
I really liked the fact that they now offer personalized engraving on perfume bottles.
One stand, especially set up for the event, showed the connection between food and perfume scents. It was a nice occasion to taste a rose flavoured Ladurée macaron.
Throughout the evening drinks and finger food were served. The entire event was so well organized.
Make-up consultations were also offered to those who were interested.
Our Polaroid with the Ann Vandermeer. It was really interesting to speak to her and discover the work that was behind the PARIS 8 transformation. No detail was left to chance and I think that the outcome is fantastic. I will certainly return to PARIS 8 HAUTE PARFUMERIE on a regular basis from now on. Thank you Ann and Anne-Sophie for inviting me to this beautiful event. I wish you lots of success with your new beautiful store.
