On Tuesday I had a dinner date at Mesa Tai Ji, an Asian, mainly vegetarian, restaurant. My date was...
Mr. Yaya Van Chique (pronounced chic)! I've known him since October and when I met him for the first time, I discovered that Mr. Chique knows the clique (just had to throw this in) that my sister hangs out with. It's a small world. Especially in Luxembourg.
I had been to Mesa Tai Ji once before a couple of years ago.
Yaya ordered a sanbitter and I did the same.
These are the kind of portions served at Mesa. They are huge! Forget about the standard six tiny maki rolls. I don't think they even feature on the menu. In this restaurant, everything seems to be supersize.
I had a vegetarian box. The tempura was included. I was unable to finish it...
Yaya and I had a very fun evening; we talked about his switch from vlogging to blogging and we discovered that we both love watching Keeping up with the Kardashians. I hope that this was not our last date.
