In the early afternoon I did a photo shoot with a group of girls in Esch. You will soon see the result on my fashion photo blog.
I had been looking forward to the Bolshoi ballet season that is screened at cinemas. On Sunday I went to see the first performance, The Legend of Love. It was shown live from the Bolshoi in Moscow at Utopolis Belval.
But before the show, I had dinner at Urban Belval. They have made a few changes to their menu and I tried a new dish, the melted Camembert. It was served with potatoes, baguette and salad. It was like eating cheese fondue but not from a pot.
The ballet was fantastic. When I think of perfection, ballet from the Bolshoi is one of the few things that pops into my mind. I can only imagine the years of hard work and discipline it takes for the dancers to deliver seemingly effortless performances.
If you are interested in following the Bolshoi 2014-15 ballet season, there may be a cinema near you that is showing it: http://www.pathelive.com/fr/bolshoi-worldwide/bolshoi-worldwide-1. Over 1000 theatres and 50 countries are participating.
