Marriott Hotel & Norrebro street party (Copenhagen Day 1)

Finally I get to share with you photos of my trip to Copenhagen! I cannot believe that it was already a week ago.

I landed in CPH early in the morning and walked a bit around the city. It was much bigger than I remembered it. I was late for lunch with a Luxembourg friend even though I took a cab as a last resort to be on time.

We met at Franske Cafe and I ate a big salmon sandwich. It was so good!

After lunch I checked in at my hotel. I had previously stayed at the Marriott in Copenhagen and I decided to go back. I was very happy with my executive room.

This was the view from my room, overlooking Tivoli and the centre of Copenhagen.

My package included breakfast in the executive lounge, as well as wi-fi, minibar and afternoon snacks.

I like it when bathrooms have a shower and a separate bath.

In the evening I met up again with my Lux friend and we hung out at a street party in Norrebro.  Of course I had to drink Carlsberg! Please ignore the silly look on my face.

I would not have thought that I would ever return to Copenhagen after my not so great experience several years ago. To make a long story short, that time I got thrown out of a bar and I was quite upset. I nevertheless went back, in order to neutralize this bad memory and I'm glad that it worked.

More photos to follow.
