City snaps (Copenhagen Day 2)

On day two, I woke up to a sunny morning in Copenhagen. I just managed to have breakfast and went straight to back to bed. I didn't leave the hotel until 5 pm.

I wanted to see the Little Mermaid, something I had missed when I was there last time. She is really tiny!

Nearby was the Sakura Festival which I was going to attend the following day.

On my way back to the centre, I took this photo and then my Sony camera stopped working. Since I had left my Canon SLR at home, I had to take the remaining photos of the trip with my iPhone.

My Lux friend had left for a volleyball tournament in Turkey but she had kindly set me up with some of her friends to go for dinner. It was a fun evening. The photos didn't turn out well because it was too dark, otherwise I would have shared them with you.

  9. It's lovely to see beautiful sunny photos of Copenhagen. All the rest I've seen as of late are gloomy, dark, and cold. The ones you took are very picturesque. Haven't been but I'd love to, especially since becoming obsessed with Danish TV series such as Borgen :)

  12. Oh not cool that your camera stopped but the iPhone makes good pictures too. And it's not up to the camera but the photographer mainly. And I've told you that I really like your photography skills. Copenhagen is such a nice and charming city. Glad to hear that you had fun there.

  29. Gah! So, so lovely! Copenhagen sits a little low on my travel list unfortunately, still so many other cities I want to see first. That said I need to add the little mermaid to the list. How cute and I'm sure there is a story behind it and all. I need to look into it.
