I am very happy that my latest column was published in the Discover Benelux April issue.

Last week's Italian dinner at Porta Vecchia in Senningerberg. I had tagliatelle with pesto. The portion was too big for me. Also I had just got my second set of braces (lower teeth) and chewing was very painful. The pasta was so good though that I asked for a doggy bag.

I wish I could show you the macarons I got from Ladurée, especially the new Marie Antoinette flavour but by the time I took this photo, they were already all gone. The little pink squares are milk chocolates that I still have a few left of.

When I met my Russian friend Pavel a couple of weeks ago, I was happy to receive two catalogues showing paintings by Iskander Ulumbekov, an artist that I had met when I lived in Moscow.

The painting above depicts the Grund in Luxembourg City.

The next few days will be quite busy but I'm looking forward them, especially because the days are getting longer and warmer.

  16. Haha...the imagine image of you of the village people in the years to come...I perfectly understand where you're coming from. Not that we're being two-faced when go and visit the place where our parents are from, but we do have to behave in a certain way which is not the most comfortable. But, it's not everyday, so that's fine. Lovin' your column :)
