On Saturday I had dinner with F at Ristorante Roma in the city centre. We had last seen each other before she left to Cuba and I to Brazil, so we had lots of latest news to share.
We started off our dinner with prosecco and a tuna amuse-bouche.
The restaurant was currently offering a large selection of risotti as part of their risotti festival and it was immediately clear that I would go for the prawn risotto with mozzarella bocconcini.
F chose the ossobuco risotto.
The food was such delight! I had been to Roma once before and it was a great experience as well. But it's the kind of place where you have ensure that you make a reservation before as it is likely to be full on weekends.
We ended our evening at ZanZen bar where I drank a caipirinha in honour of the good days I had in sunny Brazil.
