These Kniddelen made my day

Yesterday my mum made these delicious Kniddelen (dumplings, no filling) with melted butter for me.

I added a couple of cheese slices and thoroughly enjoyed this simple lunch. She promised that today she would make me pancakes. I'm so grateful for little things like that.

It started snowing yesterday afternoon and I was glad not to have to drive. As soon as it starts raining (and it happens very frequently), there is panic on the roads, so imagine what it is like when it starts snowing... This weather really makes me look forward to my trip to Rio de Janeiro in two weeks!

In other (major) news, I have lit a new Diptyque 'Musc' candle. I didn't take good care of 'Violette', I didn't ensure that the thread was centred and it caused a small glass explosion. I didn't like the scent that much anyway, too sweet. Musc is musc (!) better.
