A look back at the great trips I went on in 2013: Last year's New Year's Eve I was in Paris.
Later in January, I travelled to London to take a course and catch up with friends.
While I was in England, I took a day trip to beautiful Bath.
It was still cold when I met my blogger friend Miss Catita in Brussels for a weekend in February.
In March I went back to London for great food and a visit to The Shard.
In April I drove to Cologne to see the Justin Bieber concert. I have yet to meet a person who envies me for that (the concert).
A couple of days after, I flew to Moscow but I had a stop in lovely Amsterdam first.
I was very happy to visit my previous hometown Moscow again. A part of my heart will always be there.
I didn't travel for two months, partly because I was sick and I did painting in my place. I was ready to hit the road again in July for one week in Bangkok...
.... which was immediately followed by two weeks in New York City.
Hamburg had been on my travel list for a long time. I finally made this wish come true at the end of August.
Over the past few years, I have learned to appreciate Paris more, so I went back in September for a weekend.
My flights to Bangkok and New York had earned me an almost free flight to Scotland. I visited Edinburgh...
... and Glasgow in October.
In November I did a nine day road trip through California. It felt great to escape the cold and wake up to sunshine every day.
Earlier this month I spent 17 hours in London, which was very short but fun.
A few days later I flew to Milan, to hang out with my Italian friend G.
2013 was a year full of challenges and dark times. I am glad that I made it through it. I know deep in my heart that 2014 can only be better. Wishing you a great start into the New Year! xo
