Scotland Day 3: Old Town, Edinburgh

On my last day in Scotland, I visited the Old Town of Edinburgh. It felt like having time travelled and walking through a fairytale. I truly enjoyed visiting the Castle and I spent three hours there (okay, one and a half hours were dedicated to queueing and enjoying afternoon tea). After this medieval rapture, I visited the Scotch Whisky Experience, which was super enthralling.

If I hadn't travelled to Glasgow, I would have had enough time to see most of Edinburgh but now I feel like I have still missed out on a few things. A good enough reason to return some day!

  8. Edinburgh has the most beautiful buildings. I went on an open top bus tour when I was there which was fantastic as it allowed me to see more of Edinburgh than I would have done on foot.

  9. Thank you for taking me to Edinburgh today with this post as this place seems so far away from me. I can't even imagine what it is like there. The architecture is beautiful with all those domes. I'm sure you had a great experience there!
