Hamburg Part I

As you can see on the photos, the weather was fantastic - actually quite hot. I was running around carrying my trench coat that I had brought in vain.

These photos were taken in different areas of Hamburg: Neustadt, Altstadt, Speicherstadt, and Hafen City. Something that struck me right from the beginning was the city's architecture, where old meets new.

Did you know that Hamburg is the second largest city in Germany?

    1. It was on my list, as well as the Empire Riverside bar and Onkel Otto's. I didn't go to any bar in the end because I was too tired on the first evening and the night after I went to a musical. I will definitely keep it in mind though if I return; it looked really cool on the pics I saw.

  14. Great photos, it really brings back memories of your trip to Hamburg earlier this spring. My fave part of the city is definitely Hafen city maybe because it reminds me of Amsterdam ;) but with a different vibe!
