I was introduced to Barney Greengrass more than ten years ago, when a New York friend took me there for lunch. This restaurant is famous for its huge fish platters and brunch. It has also appeared in Woody Allen's Deconstructing Harry, Sex and the City, and Seinfeld. Can you believe that it has been around for more than a hundred years?
I had the Nova Scotia salmon with vegetables, served with a warm bagel, butter and cream cheese. It was a delight. I hope that Barney Greengrass will continue to exist for more centuries to come.
