Friday dinner at Annapurna

Yesterday I met with an old friend for Indian dinner at Annapurna (A is still young; we've known each other since kindergarten). We took advantage of the good weather and dined on the terrace.

A had paneer dilbahar: fresh cheese cooked in cashew nut sauce.

Unadventurous as I am, I ordered paneer palak; fresh cheese in spinach sauce - a dish I have eaten there many times before. When it comes to Indian restaurants, I either have paneer palak or prawns in masala sauce. This needs to change. From now on, I am going to make an effort and deliberately not order any of these anymore.

When we saw the waiter walk by with ice creams, we had the same thought and could not resist a little dessert.

A and I love TV shows and we occasionally share recommendations. She told me to watch Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog with Neil Patrick Harris. That's what I'll do this weekend.
