Alrighty, see ya later (NY II)

"Alrighty, see ya later," said the girl to the guy and then they parted ways. I've only been to New York eight times but I have met strangers again by coincidence. There were these Austrian tourists we once spotted at the Guggenheim and a couple of days later we saw them again on Times Square. Or a couple who had noticed us on a subway train and after a few days ran into us in a shop and let us know. And a guy we met at an Internet place and later I saw him again selling perfume at Saks. It happened to me in Bangkok too. But that's another story.

These photos were taken around Wall Street, on the High Line (a park built on elevated railtracks that are no longer in use), and around the Flatiron building.

  5. dear anouka, these are the best nyc-pics I´ve seen for a long while. example iron flat building - 1 billion times photographed, but your one looks like the very first pic in this gorgeous sun light atmosphere. I could go on and on - let me just mark another one too: the reflection on the wall street sign is a perfect example for your photo eyes. thanx, julia
