Russia Day reception

This week I attended a reception at the Russian Embassy to celebrate Russia Day. A great occasion to enjoy food, drinks, entertainment and chat with old and new acquaintances.

    1. I don't have any Russian roots but I studied the language for several years and I lived in Moscow.

  19. I had 1 year of Russian at university and to this day regret I quit because I found it too confusing (I was reading Polish at the time). It's such a beautiful language, I would love to visit Moscow (just read you lived there, it must have been quite the experience!) and St Petersburg.
The embassy building is beautiful, so many precious details.
I fell in love with the dress on the far right-hand side, 5th picture - could even picture it as a wedding dress.
