  2. Gosh that room is miniscule, what a shame. Hopefully you'll have somewhere lovely to stay when you come back in January. I was on Bond St this weekend too having a stare up at the Union Jacks!

  6. London *.* Ech freen mech schon drop am März endlech och mol rem enker dohin ze goen! Dein Hotelzemmer war zwar wirklech naischt fir een 4 Stären Hotel, bis lo haat ech mat den Hotelen emmer zimmlech Chance an wou ech lescht Joer do war haat ech wirklech een top Hotel an ech mengen deen war och 4 Stären. Wanns de also enker bessen Geld zevill hues an een Hotel brauchs deen secher gudd ass, kanns de dech jo bei mir mellen :P
Freet mech iwregens datt dir mein bun tutorial gefall huet an wanns de am Internet keen vun denen Schwämmecher fenns, kanns de jo mol enker beim Schlecker oder am Cactus kucken, do missten et där och ginn.
Deng Kombinatiouns Idee fir mein weißen Gillet huet mer och gudd gefall mee ech mengen daat probéieren ech léiwer net fir d´Uni aus well do ginn ech sou wéi sou schon emmer ugekuckt als wier ech vun engem aneren Stär xD
Wenschen dir nach een schéinen Owend
    xx

  7. London is great and how fun you are doing that communication course, how is it? I'd love to do one, is your company paying it or was it your own initiative?
Anyway, that room is tiny, I could not sleep too well in that ini mini bed as I move so much!!! But hey that is London for you, expensive and often hotels are not that clean or big! If you are ever in Amsterdam, I'd love to meet you!
PS: I am back now but lazy to post...but I have a surprise coming up my blog!

  10. I am so sorry about the hotel - the room does look really small, especially for a 4* place. Glad to hear that, apart from that, you enjoyed your trip to London. x

  11. The "four star" hotel did not live up to the expectations for sure! The bed seems so tiny! What size would they call that bad? Single? Full? I hate unclean hotel rooms.....sorry you had such a bad experience there :<
On the brither note, the business lounge sounded great. I'd love to visit one haha I'd be sitting on the massage chair the whole time haha :)

Sad you didn't get to do much sightseeing, but sounds like it was definitely a worthwhile trip anyway - learning is just as valuable!

  38. Hi Anouka! That course sounds interesting...is it for social media communication? Work or play? I'd be interested in hearing about it! It is so hard to find good accommodation in London, isn't it? The last time we stayed there, we stayed near Paddington Station in a tiny room with a capsule-sized bathroom. It was a good location though and I don't remember it being too dirty...can't remember the name of it though, sorry....it was many years ago.

    1. Hi Ali,

It's a personal development course unrelated to work. But what you learn can be applied in all areas of your life whenever you interact with people. In short, you learn how to let go of your past and consciously create your own future.

I've booked the CitizenM hotel for my next stay in London (same one that I stayed at in Amsterdam). At least I know what to expect... xo

    2. Well done you for doing that course! It sounds like a course worth doing! I love studying and personal development courses.
That's good you've got another hotel booked...hopefully this one will be better than the last!

  39. Wait it is a 4star hotel??? It is so small and it that size should matter but I generally associate spacious rooms with luxury... Regardless it looks like a good time!

  45. I love to have a wander around Fortnum and Mason - I'm just trying to organise a Christmas shopping trip to London for early December. What a disappointing hotel - such a tiny bed (lovely colour of cushion and throw though!!) Six days in January should be fun - plenty of time to explore and shop (the sales will be on too!)
