  2. :) Quite a fan of Oasis, and that quote is so true! I have a few days of Italy to catch up on, I see!! Would be amazing to see the real David, I imagine and the Marilyn exhibition sounds great. Such a shame about the hotel, nothing worse than a noisy hotel. Sometimes it is a bit of good luck to get a good hotel. Hope your next sleep is peaceful xx

  5. Three icons, must have been some day! I would be particularly eager to see the Marilyn exhibition, such an icon. The bidet lol haven't seen one in ages! I am guessing that from now on your trip will get even better, Tuscany is beautiful. Try and stop by San Gimignano, you wont be disappointed :)
Oh and btw yes those are potatoes on the pizza, unusual right?! and the base isn't like a normal pizza's, it is a kind of bread well sort of, difficult to explain! Gd morning to you x

  14. I feel you! I hate a noisy hotel! Especially like you said with the numbers of stars, this is unacceptable!! To me, I'd rather spend more on a nicer/comfortable/quite hotel than eating well or be able to shop more.
I am sorry to heard you had such a bad experience in this hotel. Good you wrote about it to warn others what to expect!

  16. that's too bad about the hotel..I experienced some like that as well when I was in Europe =\ I think some places have lower standards for what can be considered a 4-star
    looking forward to more pics!

  20. Florence has so many things to see. I saw an advertising of Marilyn exhibit in Ferragamo Museum and dreamed to be on Florence to visit it.
