    1. I did two years of Italian evening classes; plus knowing French and Spanish helps me understand. Speaking is a different story but my skills are sufficient to order food, get a cab and shop :)

  19. AAAWWW! Botticelli!!! And the Birth of Venus! I was sooooo hypnotized by it back in 2009, my dad had to drag me away from the painting before I would go insane! And funnily (remember I commented if this was a word? well I don't know if it is but I guess since you used it, it is now officially one ;)) my dad had told me this story about people going literally INSANE after visiting the Uffizi gallery and seeing all those wonderful painting. And I laughed since I thought he was being silly but after having my moment of half insanity, I can totally understand those people! I was also in love with "The Spring" painting of Botticelli!

  30. Dnt Worry you will manage well with a map! You'll probably have more fun and get a better view of Tuscany that way!
