  36. Thanks for sharing, Ciao, come stai?...che disdetta la macchina che si rompe in una strada sconosciuta, in un paese sconosciuto e al calare delle tenebre...una orribile seccatura, per fortuna che tutto è andato per il verso giusto. What a

  37. Cortona looks amazing! I am learning so much about regional Italian cities through your travels. Only wish you had included a map of your actual route for us geographically challenged.

  38. Ok so I am really behind all your posts! Not only was I in Mexico for work but I spend most of my free time studying for my Dutch exam I had today....
Reading your horrible car ride brings so many souvenirs to my mind although your experience seems much worse. I remember on my 1st ever business trip, back when I was still sooooo young and stubborn (still am!), I had arrived at Heathrow where I was taking a Ford Focus all the way to Burgess Hill, this tiny town and just like you I was without a map, alone, jet lagged (after a 7 hours night flight) and driving on the other side of the road! What a trip that was, I got lost more than one (back then navigator were not yet available, woow I am old!) and I did not even have a card, just a few explanations from colleagues that had been there before. But I can only imagine that plus the fact that you are driving in Italy, we went there last summer and all of a sudden my BMW seemed way too big for those narrow roads (around Lago di Como) I can only say good move at renting the FIAT and hopefully you get a new one without weird noises! I think it must have been all the rocks and holes on the road ;) Keep it up girl!
